BLOGGER DELETED TWEETS ON CELE

Blogger Musa Khawula has yet to apologize, according to a TimesLives report, and claimed Cele’s threats of legal action were “a ploy to intimidate him.”

“I think there are more pressing issues in South Africa than wasting SAPS resources on personal gain,” Khawula said.

KHAWULA SAID THREATS WERE A SET TO INTRODUCE IT

BUT on Monday evening Khawula had withdrawn the tweets by Célé.

It comes after Khawula posted videos to Twitter on Friday night claiming Cele was at Coco nightclub in Cape Town with her daughter Khumbuza Cele.

“There are two Khumbuza Celes, but she’s not my daughter. My daughter is at home in Durban, ”Cele said.

HE WANTS KHAWULA TO WITHDRAW THE STATEMENT AND APOLOGY

His spokesperson Lirandzu Themba confirmed on Twitter that the person in Khawula’s Twitter videos was not the Minister of Police’s daughter. She also said Cele “was planning to take the necessary steps” if Khawula didn’t back down and apologize for them.

Cele did not take these claims well and threatened to take legal action.
