A video and image of the Galaxy S21 Fan Edition (FE) and Galaxy S22 have been leaked. Samsung Electronics plans to introduce them in the first half of next year.
An Italian HD blog recently posted a Galaxy S21 FE unboxing video via YouTube. The 6 minute and 44 second video not only shows how the Galaxy S21 looks but its specs.
According to the video, the Galaxy S21 FE looks the same as the Galaxy S21 released earlier in 2021. At the top of the screen is a punch hole for a camera. The new model will come with a triple camera. The sleek new model is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 888 AP.
In addition, it can perform an optical image stabilization (OIS) function. Its IP67 grade waterproof and dustproof finishes protect the smartphone from water and dust.
Industry insiders expect Samsung Electronics to unbox the Galaxy S21 FE at CES 2022 on January 4 next year ahead of its official launch on January 11. The model is expected to be launched in certain European markets.
Images of the Galaxy S22 series, slated for release in February next year, are also regularly leaked. Recently, even images believed to be official posters have been leaked.
The leaked image shows the Galaxy S22 Plus and Galaxy S22 Ultra together. As for the Galaxy S22 Plus, it is similar in design to the previous model Galaxy S21, with rounded corners and an outline design.
Slanted corners have been applied to the Galaxy S22 Ultra, giving it a similar feel to the design of the existing Galaxy Note series. The rear camera part comes in the form of a camera protruding from the device itself without a frame. As predicted by industry experts, the ultra-model is expected to come with an S Pen stylus.
So far, videos and images of new smartphone products have often been leaked ahead of their official launch. However, some smartphone experts claim that more and more information has been leaked with the release of official unboxing videos and posters.
“It’s common for information about new products to leak online, but these leaks have been more explicit in recent years,” computer media SamMobile said. “Such leaks decrease people’s interest in new products and reduce their anticipation on the day they are released. Samsung Electronics will be able to increase the value of the Galaxy brand by taking a firm stand in the face of such leaks. “
