FOODIES are clamoring to go to a cafe in Worcestershire after a popular food blogger called it a ‘hidden gem’.
Birmingham-based blogger Bab About Town visited Checketts of Ombersley and shared the experience with her 20,000 Instagram followers.
Alongside a video of the visit, she wrote: “HIDDEN GEM ALERT. This one is in Droitwich!
“Introducing @checkettsofombersley, a lovely little independent who is a Deli, Butchers and Cafe.
“It’s so soft, think of a kind of feeling of yesteryear!
“You can buy fresh local produce from their butcher and delicatessen, and you can even sit down for brunch and have a great cup of tea in their cafe.
“They even sell delicious cakes, bake fresh pizzas and serve hot chocolate! That’s definitely a bit of me! Would you like to come here?”
Followers were quick to respond to say they would pay the cafe on Main Road in Ombersley a visit.
Many said they would make the trip to the Worcestershire village to sample the food and drink on offer.

Amy Langston, the blogger behind Bab About Town, typically writes about restaurants and cafes in Birmingham, but ventures outside of the second city.
Checketts of Ombersley has a long history in the village when David Checketts’ great-grandfather moved his butchery there in 1925.
Checketts not only has a cafe, but also sells fruits and vegetables, groceries, has its own butcher shop, and many local foods and beverages.
The cafe menu is prepared entirely from the deli counters.
