Nicole Keshishian Modic, famous on social media for her cooking recipes, said the first thing to do is to cut a used lemon (with the skin) into small pieces.
Using a plastic ice cube tray, she placed a small piece of lemon in each of the cells.
To increase the acidity, she then poured white vinegar over the lemon pieces.
She stuck the tray in the freezer to allow the lemon and vinegar mixture to freeze into cubes.
Once they’re frozen, she said to throw a few cubes in the trash and let it go.
“No more stench or sharp blades,” the blogger said.
“Works every time.”
home specialists confirmed his quick hack, stating that lemons – or even limes – “will not only help clean the grinder, but also give it a fresh, lemony scent.”
Experts have also suggested that you only run your garbage disposal if you have cold water running at the same time.
