She is back. This Youtuber who likes to tell us what’s wrong with cities has once again graced us with a travel article on Fort Myers. This time she mixed it up a bit by also giving us 5 good things about Fort Myers. Advantages and disadvantages. There seemed to be a lot more anger in his first video. If you missed it, here it is.
So why are we listening? In just 4 months, she grew her Youtube channel by around 50%. 36,000 subscribers and millions of views. That’s an even bigger increase than the assessment that was on my property tax form last week. Over 11,000 views on his latest Fort Myers video. People have to listen. Right? Apparently they had to revisit Fort Myers this month. So they’ve updated their original list of 10 reasons why you shouldn’t move to Fort Myers, Florida and added a few good things to it. Judging by the overwhelming flow of people migrating to the area, I guess not many people have seen this video. So I will share it. Not because I agree with everything they say, but because I wish fewer people would move here. I’ve been here 20 years and love this place. But wow, our roads just weren’t built to accommodate that many people.
Sometimes I wonder if all these northerners come here and are just too complacent. There were no named storms to hit Florida in the last hurricane season. This is why they no longer go north during the summer. Besides, it was hot up there. I think it hit 102 degrees in Iowa.
So what’s his problem with us this time and why do we need a second travel feature on Fort Myers? Listen.
